Halo: Reach first look

This is the default text

As I started up the game, it felt familiar. It was the Halo I expected. The armor and guns were was reminiscent of the previously released, future-set, Halo games.

But after jumping into the campaign, it quickly felt different to me.
Maybe not by the game mechanics or by the visual graphics or characters…

I was anxious. Almost nervous.
I’m not sure if the storyline grabbed me to quickly or if the tone of my fellow in-game comrades set me into a jumpy disposition… but I was being careful; looking around every corner before entering.

When the first red dot appeared on my mini-map, I realized how sneaky the Covenant was going to be. This was confirmed at the first Covenant contact when Jackals would dash around and leap onto structures. I wasn’t used to seeing them this mobile.

I loved it. But knew it would be rough…
Especially since I’m playing the game for the first time on Legendary.
I plan on dying a lot.

I feel this game will be a great collection to the Halo fans out there. You will want it in your game library. But does it bring something to the table of those who have not been Halo fans? Maybe. It’s a good game.
But I feel that you will love this game because you love the previous Halo games. I’m waiting for some big differences. Maybe they’ll come. We’ll see.
