Today Amanda asked a question. I don’t even remember what it was. But just after she asked the question, it sounded as if Rachael said “yeah”.
I don’t know if it counts as her first word or not. But it was funny.

I spent this July 4th weekend at my mom’s house. We just relaxed. No fireworks. No cookouts. Just relaxed.

I’m having a hard day today. It’s hard needing something and never seeing or receiving it.
At times I feel like a little girl, but it all comes down to feeling wanted…  and how that is the opposite of how I feel.

We have a new kitten. Bekah loves it. It’s very passive and quiet. So far.
We haven’t decided on a name yet.

This (Saturday) afternoon we went to the Carter’s house for a family Easter egg hunt. Bekah preferred the slide over the eggs.
I caught a photo of Bekah climbing the ladder up to the slide. She repeated this about 30 times.

She was so tired. We’ve been trying to limit how often she gets to have her passie. So sleeping has been different the last few days. She refuses to go to sleep. So this is what we end up with.
