This was my first night to make it to Larry’s Pizza “Pizza Parade”.

We got there as close to 5pm as possible in order to beat the crowd. Even at that, there was still a 5 to 10 minute wait.  I don’t think that was too bad. The restaurant is still new and popular in that way. And so far the pizza is great. But I wanted to see how it fared on a “Parade night”.

It was nice having all the different choices of pizza brought to you. But if you were waiting on a particular pizza, you had to request it, or get lucky.  I took anything that I thought I would like and ate away. Others at the table waited until something they really wanted came to the table.

I still think that the pizza ordered for your table is probably a little better and warmer than the delivery buffet, but it was still a fun outing.

I have no complaints.

Amanda and I left the house early this morning. She had to get to Magnolia for work today.

Since she was going to be in town, we planned on having a lunch together at Flying Burger. It was nice to have lunch with my wife today. I never get to do that on work days.

It was a great change of pace as well. It felt like a special day.

Ate at Joe’s Pizza and Italian tonight with the family.   Amanda and I shared a plate of the ravioli to try it out.

The sauce was wonderful; enough to encourage me to order it again, even though I’m not a fan of ravioli.

I’m continually looking forward to trying out another new dish.

On the other hand, I’m always looking forward to the Strawberry Cheesecake. Always a win.

Just ordered another pizza online at Dominos.com. I love the Internet.

My favorite two-pizza-order is Thin-crust pepperoni  and the American Classic Hand Tossed Cali Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza.

Eating McDonald’s with the family in Magnolia. Bekah thought she would strike a breakfast food pose for me while holding her sausage biscuit.

You have to love the hair.

Bekah and Rachael have been playing in the playground.  They’re already exhausted because it’s already hot outside. It’s the end of lunch time and we’re getting a late breakfast.

But we wanted to take advantage of McDonald’s discount. Sausage biscuits were on sale today.  =)

It’s 11:48pm and I just sat down inside. It’s dark outside… and cool. A light wind blowing. So I have little to complain about.

But I just finished digging up the small patch of area in my yard that I’ve been meaning to use for vegetables/etc. It stays full sun most of the day.

After working the dirt and compost and mixing in some Miracle Grow, I moistened the ground and put in a few Watermelon plants that I brought home today.

We’ll see how my little (late!) garden will turn out.

I’ve been traveling today. I went to Little Rock with Snell and stopped to pick up some equipment for his work at the EPD. After that I bought a new dining room table at Gardenridge, we ate at Genghis Grill, got a shake at the Purple Cow… but most importantly, we went to Best Buy and pre-ordered Halo 3 ODST.

I spent this July 4th weekend at my mom’s house. We just relaxed. No fireworks. No cookouts. Just relaxed.

Last night, we got Bekah a little swimming pool to play in. She loves to swim while it’s hot outside. I honestly think the weather might have nothing to do with it. We’ll see come Fall. I tried out the Domino’s Pizza online ordering service for our supper. It was delivered in 30mins. Very nice. Easy AND quick.

So You Think You Can dance was our TV pick for the weekend. We had to catch up from the last 3 weeks. Any other watchers out there?
