"Minzkala"
The Digva'ja, red-faced warlords, have determined to take control the world of Gael. They have enslaved, murdered, and destroyed whole villages. In an attempt to escape this evil, the people of Gael have left their homes, seeking a new life on another continent. They will not go without aid, for far away, from the world of Celestra, a great and mighty force has seen their suffering and has come to help. This force, known as the Ancients, will open its city gates to give the fighting men and women of Gael special skills and equipment and above all, hope. Those chosen form an elite band of warriors for the Ancients, and will fight to rid the lands of Gael from the control of the Legion and to secure the well-being of future generations. Among them, a team of four brothers from the Forest Elf city of Jalathiel. The bond grows when Kal and his brothers meet members of the other races in Gael to unite as one solid driving force against the Legion. Minzkala combines a wealth of writing perspectives. Fantasy, brotherhood in battle, faith, endearing relationships and classic gaming concepts all server to tell the age-old-tale of good verses evil.
Halo 3 ODST Pre-Order
I've been traveling today. I went to Little Rock with Snell and stopped to pick up some equipment for his work at the EPD. After that I bought a new dining room table at Gardenridge, we ate at Genghis Grill, got a shake at the Purple Cow... but most importantly, we went to Best Buy and pre-ordered Halo 3 ODST.
Daffodil Festival
We drove to Camden this morning to visit with Jon and Tracy and stop by the Daffodil Festival [link to festival website].
It's not as cold as it was last year. The weather was nice. We saw a few friends and listened to a few songs from The Crusaders and then headed out.
We have plans for steaks tonight at Jon's house.
Good Times
We went and ate out at Good Times Grill tonight with Katie and Whit.
When we parked the car, Amanda tested her mobile phone's resilience to heavy objects by tossing her phone under the tire of a car that was pulling in to park.
But it's doing ok.
Feel free to call in and check on it.
P.S. - note how dirty our windshield is. /fail
