The Corner
Every parent uses their own methods to teach their children responsibility, right and wrong, and consequences for actions.
One method we use for Bekah is time-out / standing in the corner. Often this is a light punishment geared towards stopping and resetting. We have her count to "20" while standing in the corner. It usually involves "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 20" and then a peak to see if we are looking.
Sometimes she says every number and counts all the way to "30".
Well, after our session this evening, Bekah counted through it and was done.
Rachael apparently saw her and followed by voluntarily standing in the corner and saying "dah, dah, dah" and then peeking to see if we were watching.
It was quite funny. Which led to a laugh. Which led her to repeating herself.

Low on Gasoline
I was driving out to the Brown's residence tonight to play some Halo 3. Our car was a little over-stocked with junk that we don't need and some of it has made it's way to our dashboard. Particularly right in front of the fuel gauge.
I moved some things and saw THIS.
I just thought it was funny. There was a gas station not too far from where this was taken. And as soon as I pulled in they turned ALL the lights off at the station. I filled up anyway. I really had no choice.
Psych Quote of the Moment
Upon visiting the fire house to investigate a possible arson crime, Shawn and Gus dress in fire gear, slide down the pole, interview the firemen while training, and practice CPR. Gus is especially happy to be involved with the fire house. They even get to go to the scene of a fire.
After all this, Gus is upset because he hasn't seen a dalmatian dog the entire time that they've been at the fire station.
[Gus] I'm just saying, it'd be nice to see them in their natural environment.
[Shawn] They're not indigenous to fire houses, Gus.
I just thought it was funny.
Why do people forward scary messages that don’t even make sense?
This was created just to make people forward it.
Think about it:
If Facebook is getting slow, it is because everyone is forwarding this fake message to all their friends.
And, if Mark Zuckerberg wanted to send a message to see if you're active, he could easily do it without your/our help. He would automatically send a message to everyone himself.
Or better yet, he would just check the log files and see who hasn't logged in a long time.
He doesn't even involve himself in the workings of Facebook anyway.
UPDATE: But most of all, he would spell his last name correctly. ZuckerburG.
Below is a copy of the message.

How to NOT cool down a power supply
- Common sense!
- Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
- Don't buy microsoft products unless you have to

A North Carolina teenager who decided the best way to cool his Xbox's overheating power supply was to stick it in a bowl of water was knocked unconscious by the resulting electric shock and earned himself a trip to hospital with "minor burns to his right hand and foot".
According to local news reports, the 14-year-old Brevard youth was having a spot of bother with his console which would shut down every five minutes. His mum told the press he "thought the problem was likely linked to overheating" and duly "tried to fix it on his own based on tips he found online".
This apparently involved wrapping the offending power supply in plastic and tape and dunking it in said bowl "while it was still plugged in". His mother explained: "When I left to go next door he was playing a game but when I got back he was laying on his back on the floor and unconscious."
The young man was subsequently detained overnight at the local Transylvania Community Hospital.
