They finally added the Auction House and Mail abilities to other WoW Armory (www.wowarmory.com).

You can now browse the in-game auction house (your faction and the neutral auction houses), place bids, post items for sale, collect the money from sold auctions, re-list items that did not sell, and more.

Here's what Blizzard has on the Armory page:

The Remote Auction House lets you browse your realm's auction house through a web browser or the iPhone's Armory app. With a subscription to World of Warcraft Remote, you can also both bid on (or buy out) existing auctions as well as list your own items for sale from your bags, bank, and mailbox.

From what I can tell, everyone can check out all the features of the new Auction House via Armory, but soon it will cost extra subscription fees on top of your WoW subscription.

I've only placed one bid on the Auction House this way. We'll see how that goes... But I have already sold an item that I posted from my iPhone.

I went on a search today to find a way to backup my photos that I've stored on Flickr.

I started using Flickr a in 2006 to store all of my photos online so I could easily search and find any of my photographs from any internet-accessible computer.

Since then, we have seen prices drop and make laptops and mobile devices like the iPhone and Android more available to consumers. We've also seen better service use of Wi-Fi, 3G, and 4G.

My Flickr account is now wonderful and at my fingertips.

But what would happen if I lost this connection? What if I needed them and did not have these technological comforts to get me to my photos? Or what is a catastrophe occurred and somehow the Flickr servers exploded (in theory)?

My thought actually falls to the fact that I am responsible for my own property, and not a company that I know (and trust) because of the internet and what they wrote on a Terms of Service Agreement.

In short, back up my photos so I don't get upset one day down the road.

EDIT: I'm not sure if it was an update to the iPhone OS, or if I finally added enough apps to force the iPhone to give me more pages, but I now have a little more room. Any thoughts?

Flickr just released an update to their uploading program, Flickr Uploadr 3.1.3. The new version supports uploading of video as well as photos. You can also upload complete folders. This program makes uploading and organizing you photos easy. You tag and edit the titles and descriptions all from the Uploadr. You even add them into the sets that they need to belong to. It's much faster than changing this information on the Flickr website. Or, if you just want to upload a ton of pictures as you walk about the door, you can do it. And then edit them later.

This may have been around a little while but I'm just now using it. Well, I've been using it for several months now. So, I'm just now talking about it.

Many people have installed Yahoo! Messenger, MSN Messenger, ICQ, AIM, and others in order to have all of their contacts available. This caused a lot of programs to be open on your computer. And a lot of the information was saved on the local computer. In order to cut this down some, I started using a program called Trillian. This was great since it brought all of these into one program. I had all of my contacts from all the messengers in one list.

Well, now, I don't even have to have any programs installed. With the advance of Web 2.0, I can now go to Meebo.com and log in and all of my contacts are right there. Everything is saved online. This means that I can log into Meebo from any computer and it will all be there.

And if you're using Firefox (which I suggest), then you can get the Meebo Firefox Extension.

Simply, you should check this out at Meebo.com
