Shawn and Gus

Upon visiting the fire house to investigate a possible arson crime, Shawn and Gus dress in fire gear, slide down the pole, interview the firemen while training, and practice CPR. Gus is especially happy to be involved with the fire house. They even get to go to the scene of a fire.

After all this, Gus is upset because he hasn't seen a dalmatian dog the entire time that they've been at the fire station.

[Gus] I'm just saying, it'd be nice to see them in their natural environment.
[Shawn] They're not indigenous to fire houses, Gus.

I just thought it was funny.

Puppy Stitches

When we got home from our SuperBowl party Sunday night, we found that our puppy, Copper, had gotten snagged on something in the yard, fence, or under the shed. It was pretty bad... he was cut up under his hind legs.

We called the vet Sunday night, but we decided to take him in Monday morning to get cleaned up and get stitches. We'll pick him up today after work.
