Cockatiel Has Flown

LOST! She's flown the coup. She heard Katrina was going to hit and she bailed. Well... that's sort of true.

I leave her outside a lot (while still in the cage).  She likes to sing with the "other" birds. I was refilling her water like I often do. I open the door, grab the water container, close the door, fill it up, open the door, place the container on the cage wall, close the door.  SIMPLE.

But something apparently had her feathers ruffled. As soon I opened the cage door, she made a "mad-dash" out. Which means not only out of the cage, but out of the house.

She flew and flew... until I couldn't see her anymore.  I don't think chasing her would help... I can't fly.
